Description

Maidwell Hall has the highest ambitions to be the School of first choice in its sector and aspires to deliver the very best academic provision. We are now seeking an Assistant Head who can play a pivotal role strategising and delivering Maidwell Hall’s academic provision.

As Assistant Head – Academic you will primarily be accountable for the quality and delivery of the academic provision at Maidwell Hall, whilst also ensuring an enriched academic curriculum and the efficient day-to-day provision of the academic timetable within the wider school context.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and communicating a clear academic strategic plan for the School
  • Leading standards of teaching and learning and driving creative pedagogies in all subject areas
  • Realising the School’s aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum in all phases of education
  • Ensuring that the School has robust systems and mechanisms for analysing baseline data and on-going pupil progress
  • Ensuring pupils and parents receive regular progress and assessment reports

You will need to be an experienced leader with an outstanding track record as a teacher, with evidence of influencing outstanding outcomes in other teachers. You will also have proven experience of leading and managing innovation and change.
