Description
If you are an ECT looking to begin a career in teaching, or a recently qualified teacher looking to broaden your experience, then Uppingham School has an exciting opportunity for a first-rate individual to teach Art, or Art with Photography.
You will join our superbly resourced Art and Design faculty, assuming your teaching post within our award-winning Leonardo Centre where you will teach Art up to and including A level. Ideally, you will teach Fine Art across the school and based on your skills and qualifications you may also teach Photography at A level. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to broaden your teaching experience and facilitate new skills.
You will be a strong and dynamic individual, possessing excellent subject knowledge and a strong academic background. You will demonstrate good classroom management skills and will be capable of building an appropriate rapport with pupils, drawing on a strong set of communication skills. You will maintain a passion for the arts and will demonstrate a commitment to high creative standards in your work.
