Description

Uppingham School is seeking a highly motivated PE Teacher to join their thriving PE Department from September 2023.

You will provide high-quality PE teaching to students, teaching across a wide range of sports and a varied co-curricular programme. You will also be assigned as a tutor to one of our fifteen boarding houses, providing pastoral support and guidance to our students.

You will be a strong and dynamic individual with a good degree, excellent subject knowledge and a track record of outstanding teaching. You will possess good classroom management skills and will be capable of building an appropriate rapport with pupils. The ability to communicate well and work as part of a team is essential, as is a well-developed pastoral instinct.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is looking to develop their skills and gain valuable experience within a prestigious, seven-day week boarding school.
