Description

As an Admissions Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in our Admissions Department, ensuring a smooth process and positive experience for prospective pupils and their parents, by providing excellent administrative support.

Uppingham School employs over 600 staff.  At the centre of our Admissions team, you’ll find yourself amidst a vibrant community led by the Registrar. Collaborating with a diverse group of colleagues you’ll be a pivotal link in ensuring our admissions process is a smooth, efficient, and welcoming journey.

Creating unforgettable experiences, you will:

  • Orchestrate the magic behind Uppingham’s 13+ and 16+ visiting days
  • Engage with families, Housemasters, Housemistresses, and pupil tour guides, creating memorable interactions
  • Prepare prospectuses, badges, and attendee registers
  • Be a part of planning school visits to prep schools and exhibitions
  • Embrace assisting front-of-house during 13+ and 16+ test and interview days

Another key part of your role involves helping with the administrative tasks related to pupil recruitment, including processing registrations, creating offer letters, managing tests and handling post-event communications.

If you are naturally organised, able to coordinate multiple projects at once, and can work independently and as part of a team, we would like to hear from you.
