We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering targeted 1:1 or small group interventions, recording progress, and creating support plans tailored to individual needs.
Collaboration is key, as you’ll work closely with the Head of Learning Support, Learning Support Administrator, and teachers. The ability to provide various levels of individual attention and support, adapt learning activities, and create resources is essential. The ideal candidate will possess A-level qualifications, an HLTA qualification, and experience working with young people. Excellent communication skills, empathy for the needs of students with SEND, and a flexible, friendly, and professional approach are crucial attributes.
