You will be accountable for:
- Providing high standards of customer service.
- Undertaking all scheduled maintenance.
- Completing statutory PPMs and follow the PPM planner.
- Installing new pipework, services and fittings as required.
- Repairing leaks as required.
- Repairing guttering.
- Assisting contractors as and when required.
- Keeping up to date with new materials and methods of application.
- Updating records as required on the School’s CAFM system.
We seek someone with more than just qualifications; we want passion and personality! If you have a City & Guilds Plumbing Qualification (preferred), previous plumbing experience and a valid UK Driving Licence, we want to hear from you. Your practical knowledge of heating and ventilation systems, water hygiene, and plumbing will be your secret weapon.
The post-holder’s responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom they are responsible, or with whom they come into contact, will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the School’s Safeguarding (Child Protection) Policy at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the post the post-holder becomes aware of any actual or potential risks to the safety or welfare of children in the School they must report any concerns to the School’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or to the Headmaster.
