Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator to play a key role providing a high-quality HR administration service across the employee life cycle at Uppingham School.
Uppingham School employs over 600 staff and you will ensure that the delivery of HR administration to the organisation is of the highest standard and provided in a timely and efficient manner. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring paper and electronic HR records are up to date, accurate and comply with legislation
- Administering compliance processes for all new starters
- Ensuring the Single Centre Record (SCR) is up-to-date at all times
- Preparing HR related correspondence in relation to contractual changes
- Producing standard monthly reports as required (e.g. starters, leavers, changes, probationary, absence)
- Ensuring the timely submission of any new or amended payroll information
- Ensuring probationary review processes are undertaken in a timely manner
- Supporting HR Business Partners in the timely production and issuing of offer letters and contracts and amendments
- Coordinating the induction process
You will need good experience within an HR environment with strong knowledge of HR systems, reporting, processes and terminology. You will also need to be highly discreet with confidential information and be able to demonstrate professionalism and respect for confidentiality. The ability to act with limited supervision and effectively communicate and deal tactfully with people at all levels is equally important.
