Uppingham School is looking for organised, professional, and adaptable Exam Invigilators to contribute to the seamless administration of examinations.

Joining our team of invigilators, you will support the smooth running and security of examinations, working in accordance with external awarding body requirements and school instructions. You will ensure exam papers are distributed to students and securely returned and will supervise pupils during examinations, assisting with any student queries and addressing any disruptions.

No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided, although prior experience of invigilation or work within a school environment would be advantageous.

The working hours will vary in accordance with the exam timetable. You will be expected to be on site from 8:30am for the morning exams and 1:30pm for afternoon exams. The exams are held throughout the year, with the period between mid-April until the end of June (not including half-term) being a peak time in our calendar. There may be occasional hours available on the weekends in order to meet the requirements of the department.
