Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and reliable individual with a background in a mechanical or electrical trade to oversee essential maintenance duties at Uppingham School.
As a Mechanical and Electrical Supervisor, you will assist and support the Head of Mechanical & Electrical Services to help produce and implement a PPM plan, oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities, and to ensure the timely resolution of issues.
In addition to this, you will supervise and lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to deliver high-quality facilities maintenance services to the school, utilising your skills and expertise to troubleshoot technical problems and provide guidance to the team and external contractors.
You will be a positive and hard-working individual, with an IOSH Managing Safely qualification and strong Health and Safety knowledge. You will be trade qualified in an electrical or mechanical discipline (ideally both) and will possess proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within facilities maintenance. Strong leadership and organisational skills, along with previous line management experience will be essential.
