Uppingham School Sports Centre is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced addition to their dedicated team on a permanent basis. Your role will involve overseeing the Reception areas, directing members, students, and visitors to their respective destinations, addressing enquiries, and recognising the requirements of both the sports centre and the wider school community. As a valued member of our Sports Centre team, your responsibilities will encompass customer service, sales, marketing, and administration. This includes efficiently identifying needs, promoting and selling memberships, retaining USSC members, and managing a customer database along with other membership related processes. You’ll have the privilege of utilising your knowledge, experience, and skillset within our state-of-the-art facilities. Working in this world-class environment, you’ll be surrounded by a warm and supportive group of professionals, making your journey with us both professional and relaxed.

We are searching for a well-organised individual who is enthusiastic about delivering an exceptional service and possesses excellent communication and all-around interpersonal skills. You should have prior experience in either a leisure or sales environment and be proficient in IT.

We are currently recruiting to the following days and times:

Shifts available: 16 hours per week to include evenings and weekends:

Mon 16:00-20:00

Wed 16:00-20:00

Thu 10:00-14:00

Fri 10:00-14:00
