Description

If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, Uppingham School Sports Centre presents an exciting opportunity for a part-time Membership Advisor to provide all visitors to the Centre with a friendly and positive experience.

The Sports Centre is a dual use facility for both Uppingham School and the local community. The School is eager to develop wider access to the Centre and to encourage participation by the local community. Critical to the success of the Centre is a commercially targeted and client focused team and as the Membership Advisor, you will play an active role in driving membership growth of the Sports Centre to interested groups to achieve membership targets.

The role will also involve managing the reception areas, including directing members and visitors to their destination, responding to enquiries in an efficient and effective manner, carrying out administrative duties and managing the membership databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Candidates will need to have knowledge and experience of working within a customer focused setting gained within a leisure or sales environment. You will need to be highly organised with excellent communication skills, comfortable dealing with people at all levels.

This position is part time, working 16 hours per week:

  • Monday and Wednesday – 4pm to 8pm
  • Thursday and Friday – 10am to 2pm
