Description
Uppingham School is seeking a highly organised and experienced administrator to play a key supporting role within our busy Admissions Department.
Each year, Uppingham welcomes around 230 new pupils, both from the UK and overseas, as boarders and day pupils. At the heart of this successful recruitment is a professional, approachable and welcoming team, committed to providing an excellent experience for families. As an Admissions Administrator, you will play a central role in ensuring that every stage of the admissions process runs smoothly, from the first enquiry to the moment a pupil arrives at the school.
This is a varied role that requires efficiency, accuracy and excellent attention to detail. Working closely with your colleagues, you will help to deliver a seamless service that reflects the school’s high standards and ensures families feel fully supported throughout their admissions journey.

All positions at the School are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, therefore ALL convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings (including those which would normally be considered ‘spent’ under the Act) MUST be declared, subject to the DBS filtering rules. All information given will be treated as confidential and each case will be taken on its merits. Failure to disclose this information may result in the withdrawal of an offer of employment or immediate termination of employment.
