Maidwell Hall, a member of the Uppingham group of schools, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to play a key role in the school’s plans for further growth and development.

The role offers the chance to apply your leadership skills to oversee Maidwell Hall’s operational facilities and lead our catering, cleaning, maintenance, grounds and transport staff.

You will develop the quality and efficiency of our facilities and will maintain responsibility for contractors, transport, commercial lettings, Health & Safety and statutory compliance, drawing on the extensive resources of the Uppingham group to help fulfil your responsibilities.

About you

You will be a well-qualified individual, with a HNC/D or degree in a related discipline, as well as an IOSH Managing Safely qualification and membership of a relevant professional body, such as the IWFM, CIPS and CMI.

Previous experience of facilities, property management and catering is essential, ideally within the education sector. You will also possess strong team leadership skills and experience.

Project and contract management skills will also be beneficial for success in this role, including experience of supervising and monitoring contractors.
