Are you a well-qualified Maths graduate, looking to begin your career in teaching?

During your first year in this role, you will be supported through a fully funded PGCE at the University of Buckingham, while teaching a reduced timetable within our energetic and vibrant Mathematics faculty.

Alongside the PGCE, you will receive additional support and training via Uppingham’s professional development course, helping you to develop your classroom practice even further with the support of an in-school mentor.

Post-qualification, you will be able to complete your Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction years at the school, receiving continuous support from a dedicated team.

About you

We are looking for a strong, dynamic character, with excellent subject knowledge, a good Mathematics degree and the ability to establish an appropriate rapport with pupils.

Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.

You will also have high personal and professional standards, with well-developed pastoral instincts.
