Basis: Term time only plus 8 weeks - 40 weeks per year
Salary: £31,137 per annum

Description

We are looking for a committed, experienced, and passionate Head Chef to join the catering team at Maidwell Hall.

You will be responsible for the management of a single large kitchen with a team of chefs and assistants and will ensure tasks are appropriately allocated so teams are fully utilised and food preparation activities are delivered using standard recipes.

You will always maintain food quality, ensuring the efficient execution and delivery of food in line with the daily menu, and will also be accountable for stock flow.

You will need the following qualifications:

  • Food Hygiene Certificate – Level 3 (intermediate)
  • Food Production Management System training

Previous experience of managing a team of chefs in a busy kitchen environment is essential.
