Description

Maidwell Hall is looking for a focussed, energetic and inspirational Head of Maths to manage a vibrant and thriving Mathematics Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher to lead and shape the maths provision across the whole school.

You will take full responsibility for this key department, playing a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the department. You will facilitate curriculum development and will raise the profile of the subject across school, ensuring excellent teaching is delivered within the department. In addition to your departmental duties, you will also teach Maths to students from years 4-8, providing engaging lessons that fulfil the educational needs of all pupils.

About you

You will be an ambitious, knowledgeable and inspiring Teacher/Head of Mathematics, with a demonstrable love of the subject and the ability to convey this. You will provide previous experience of teaching Maths at Key Stage 2 and 3 and will ideally possess experience of teaching the CE syllabus and academic scholarship Maths. A willingness and ability to contribute to games and the wider active school life would be advantageous.
