Description
Lead the next chapter of philanthropic development at one of the UK’s most distinguished independent schools.
Uppingham is seeking an accomplished fundraising leader to shape and deliver the next stage of the school’s philanthropic strategy. As Foundation Director, you will oversee a talented and motivated team, guiding the growth of sustainable income streams that support Uppingham’s strategic ambitions. Working closely with the Headmaster, Foundation Chair and International Development Director, you will take a long-term, relationship-based approach to donor engagement, ensuring that every interaction reflects the values and reputation of the school.
About you:
This is a role for a senior professional who combines strategic vision with warmth, diplomacy and integrity. You will bring a strong track record in major gifts fundraising, ideally within an educational or cultural environment, and the confidence to influence at the most senior levels while maintaining genuine personal connection with donors and alumni. Success will come from your ability to inspire trust, nurture relationships and lead your team with clarity and care.
