Described by Lord Coe at its opening as ‘world class’, Uppingham School Sports Centre (USSC) is a dual use facility for both Uppingham School and the local community. Since 2010 we have been growing and increasing access to local residents, sports clubs and external schools. As we continue to increase participation, Leisure Assistants and Assistant Swimming Teachers will play a vital role in ensuring Sports Centre users can enjoy our facilities safely and learn valuable life saving skills.
USSC is managed and run on behalf of the School by Uppingham School Enterprises Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary, and employs c. 40 full- and part-time staff. The centre has a strong team ethos and each member shares a passions for fitness and delivering a first class experience.
