Teacher of Biology

Closing date: 11 November 2022, 9:00 am
Uppingham School is seeking to appoint a first-rate teacher of Biology, for two terms from January 2023.
This position is offered on a part time basis, teaching around twelve periods per week. Applicants may also be able to contribute to the School’s exceptionally varied co-curricular programme, for example by coaching sport or contributing to the community service, CCF or Duke of Edinburgh Award programme. With high personal and professional standards and well-developed pastoral instincts, the person appointed will be a strong, dynamic character with excellent subject knowledge, a good degree, good classroom management skills and an appropriate rapport with pupils. The abilities to communicate well and work as part of a team are also essential.
The closing date for applications is Friday 11th November 2022 at 9.00am
Interviews will take place on Wednesday 16th November 2022.
