Be a part of our dedicated team as a Domestic Cleaner at Uppingham School. We have various shift patterns available to suit your schedule, which will be discussed during the interview.
Uppingham School’s campus is a unique and beautiful environment, uniting historic buildings and modern facilities across 120 acres. As a Domestic Cleaner, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our 45 buildings and assisting with domestic duties, including meal service and laundry.
No prior cleaning experience is required, but we are looking for hardworking, professional, friendly, and approachable candidates who take pride in their work. You’ll work under the guidance of a Team Leader or Assistant Cleaning Manager.
The working hours are typically from 9.15 am to 2.25 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 2 pm on weekends. Remember, we have various shift options to discuss during the interview to accommodate your availability.

The full time salary for this role is £25,594.44. The actual salary will depend on your working hours, for example:
- 35 hours per week (5 days per week), 35 weeks per year = £11,215.92
- 35 hours per week (6 days per week), 35 weeks per year = £13,344.12
